Don't forget that a Pride is actually a protest march to make you remember that there are compatriots of yours struggling to have the same rights & possibilities as you just because they refuse to hide their true feelings & their true self in the bottom drawer of a dark closet like so many did before them in order to comply with a general opnion that was imposed on people by several dogmatic, patriarchal religions and authoritarian politicians. ( and their following ) At 4.26AM Photoshop logged my last manual save on the wedding photos I was working on. Then I must have dozed off because at 7AM the cats woke me, in the couch with the laptop in my lap.. so I immediately WeTransferred everything I had finished during the night to the couple and decided to get ready for a protest march at 28° Celcius. The lack of sleep has been an issue since early March. Hence 1 beer, 1 ice-cream and mere 9000 steps got the best of me while the pride went it's own way. But it isn'

BOEM ! That's the sound of Medieval cannons after almost 3hrs of sleep the night before and still I'm glad I went to see the great battle of the Quaeye Werelt reenactment.  Here's a short video on Clapper: Cannons & a bard (Put the sound on) Except some flashes of the battle, some honeywine & icecream with great people and a good hearthy meal with friends afterwards.. the day is a blur. I know it was hot. I know icecream fell on my toes, Alex played the lute for me.. I have probably stepped on peoples feet or hit them with the 200-600mm telelens.. or both. Luckily my cameras registered all that my mind has forgotten. .  Let us hope this time we don't have to wait 3 years till the next edition. . I haven't finished all stills..  not yet. It has been silent for a long time because I'm overwhelmed by work , work events and fatigue at the moment.. which means that my backlog is currently growing and growing. Fotofair was one of these work events. Which means I was working in the Sony tent with the best toys-for-boys instead of running & gunning; Luckily we had the best possible tent to be in during a heat-wave.. all sides open so the wind could cool us down, in the shadow of an old tree, next to the water , with a well-stocked fridge and in a straight line to the ice-cream parlor .  . The only place I managed to visit before opening was the Steam Village by the Time-travellers but luckily several steampunkers came to visit us. Hence I made a few stills and a quick video while cooling my feet in the lake. The video on Clapper: Splash . Thanks to the colleagues at Sigma & Nikon who let me try some new and great gear.. but I'm still keeping my Sony cameras for the moment. ;-) You can find al
