Red Cathedral

Sometimes models come with a boudoir proposition that both sparks my interest and comes at a moment where I have the time to execute it: fantasy boudoir with a Dryad and an Elf in a magical forest .. but softer than the work for The Dark Cathedral and non-nude. " OK, let's do it ," I nodded while already scrolling through my cramped agenda. Evidently I needed a location.. and a back-up location.. just in case . A magical meadow with wildflowers, tree-filtered light and surrounded by young treelings that I had spotted during a hike just days before seemed perfect. A Monday-shoot would ensure that few to no hikers would interfere. Evidently Murphy's law struck, as during the last check at the location a crew was mowing everything away. No worries, for there's a plan B: a bit further into the wild where I had previously done a barbarian shoot . Water, young green trees, awesome eventhough with less magical light. Last time a friendly park ranger had even pointed

This is by far the busiest period since last october ( mostly events+fairs for work & for fun ) so I'm running behind with the processing of pictures & videos once again. Still.. if you can go out on a wonderful Spring day and dress a model like a fantasy barbarian, then you should do it without hesitation. It will take a while before I get to processing more shots from this shoot, luckily model Kristof & MUA B are patient persons. Results will be on Flickr . Behind the scene videos is on Clapper .. Maybe something on Instagram ? The tickets for Castlefest have been purchased, we're hesitating over Elftopia & Elfia Arcen. What else might be interesting? This reminds me that I should urgently get some more images done from Pairi Daiza & the O-Parade. Namaste. No, I have not started hibernation. In fact I have made plenty of pictures.. eventhough I've had little time to process them so that's lagging. Been testing a pre-production Sony A7IV for over a month and today I bought one.. so yes, that happened. Let me entertain you with some Autumn portraits while I process more pictures, think of even more to make and film some tutorials for the A7IV.  . Yes plenty more images are waiting to get processed. And there is something video-ish on Clapper . More is on Flickr as always And then this happened.. standing on the organising side & the model's side & the director's side & the presenting side of a webinar. Too many hats to wear at once.. but so much fun to do. A small bonus for those crazies who scrolled till here?? .
